A Drawn Out Life
Ken Rinciari (1935–2010) was an illustrator at The New York Times, The New York Review of Books, The Progressive, and other print publications. He also worked at Grove Press in the late 60s. Ken was also a photographer, an author of and illustrator for children's books, and limited edition volumes of other books and stories. Ken was first and foremost an old-fashioned illustrator with great integrity; he drew only for progressive media. He was also a fine writer of self-published, and unpublished work.
Audrey Biase: "Kenny was quite a remarkable person and shouldn't be forgotten. He was an influence and a good friend when I needed one after my tragedy.”
Shirley Lowry (sister Marie was lovers w/Ken in the 70s): “ Ken was quite the character. We all loved him.”
